IN LUKE 16:19-31:

The summary of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus is a well-known story told by Jesus in Luke 16:19–31 that highlights the reversal of earthly fortunes and the eternal consequences of ignoring the poor. 

The Rich Man lives in great luxury, wears clothing, and feasts lavishly every day. While Lazarus is a poor beggar covered in sores who lies at the rich man’s gate, hoping to eat the scraps falling from the rich man's table. 

They Both. Lazarus dies and is carried by angels to be in Abraham" Bossom. The rich man also dies and is buried but he wakes up in another part of the Sheol that is hot and miserable. 

In Hades (Sheol), the rich man suffers in torment and sees Abraham far off with Lazarus by his side. He asks for a drop of water to cool his tongue, but Abraham explains that a great, uncrossable chasm separates them. 

The rich man asks Abraham to send Lazarus to warn his five living brothers. Abraham replies that if they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets (the Scriptures), they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.
